The importance of perspective-taking in leadership

This brief article summarizes research on perspective taking and leadership by Columbia Business School professor and social psychologist Adam Galinsky and others. One interesting finding is that when people feel powerful, they are less likely to consider the perspectives of others, which is important to keep in mind as leaders in schools and school systems.
